Mr. Johnson graduated from Texas A & M University with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1987 and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Texas. He began his engineering career at Coglan Engineering in 1989 and worked as an Engineering Draftsman and EIT.

In 1995, Professional Engineer, Wade Johnson, began his own engineering company that later formed into Johnson & Pace. He merged his engineering talents with those of Surveyor Lonnie Pace, starting his own business with only four employees, and by doing so setting up a one-stop shop for engineering and surveying consulting. Over the next few years, Johnson continued to add employees and currently has a staff of over fifty. By offering Engineering, Surveying, and Architecture services in one place, Johnson & Pace is helping to make their client's projects much easier to handle. For Wade Johnson, the corporate strategy seemed like a natural solution to his clients' hectic hiring practices. When he started as an Engineer in 1989, he saw that clients were hiring outside surveyors and architects; surveyors, civil engineers and architects go hand-in-hand, and he believed that it made sense to merge them all into one business.

Currently, at Johnson & Pace he serves as Project Manager and Principal for numerous residential and commercial land development projects including, attached housing subdivisions, residential subdivisions, large retail facilities, shopping centers, apartment complexes and manufactured housing developments. He is involved with all aspects of development including feasibility studies, planning, platting, permitting, design, bidding and construction administration. Mr. Johnson & Delcine Johnson, President of Johnson & Pace, also oversee all of the management decisions of the company.
