Safety Program

Contrary to popular belief, there are safety concerns in all types of businesses, not just industrial and manufacturing businesses. Johnson & Pace has recognized this and provides their employees with a safety manual covering the most common types of incidents that occur both in the office and in the field, including first aid instructions, disaster plans, ergonomics, and procedures for lifting and carrying heavy equipment, like computers.

The goal at Johnson & Pace is to have zero incidents, but unfortunately we know that is not always possible. J&P wants their employees to know what to do in these types of situations; abling the employee to take control of the problem and resolve the problem in the most efficient way possible.

Our Land Surveying field crews are MSHA certified and attend MSHA training once a year. The crew trucks are equipped with first aid kits, bug repellents, etc. for the safety and protection of the crew members. All field crew members are also provided with steel-toe boots, company provided shirts and jackets, and hard hats (when needed).
