Johnson & Pace Incorporated Hires Key Personnel

Longview, TX –Johnson & Pace Incorporated, the Longview-based Engineering, Architecture and Land Surveying firm, hires four new employees to support growth in its retail, industrial, and land surveying divisions.

Jacob Rumbaugh graduated from Texas A & M University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. His previous work experience includes work for the US Army Corps of Engineers where he served as the primary construction inspector for an environmental restoration and water control project and for the Visitor Center project. Rumbaugh is currently registered as an Engineer-In-Training and will undergo his internship under Engineer Joe W. Hart, III. Mr. Hart’s team of engineers and technicians primarily work on the firm’s “big-box” projects, including the firm’s current Wal-Mart Supercenter stores.

Clay Guess’s industrial experience proves to be vital to Johnson & Pace’s industrial design department. He attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, LA, and his previous project experience includes work in structural steel and mechanical design for sawmills, planer mills, log yards, material handling systems and machine design. His current position at Johnson & Pace allows him to directly interface with the firm’s industrial clients, while working under the direction of Engineer Robert Cooper.

Peggy Perkins joined Johnson & Pace in January of 2006 as an industrial design technician. She graduated from Northwestern State University with her Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering Technology in May of 2004. Her recent work experience at MARTCO Plywood in Chopin, LA makes her a great asset to Johnson & Pace, as MARTCO is one of the firm’s primary industrial clients. Perkins currently works under the direction of Engineer Robert Cooper in the firm’s industrial design department.

Tina Hickman joined the firm in late 2005 and serves as Survey Coordinator which involves meeting and consulting with clients and scheduling the firm's field crews. She also serves as additional support for the entire Land Surveying Department including all field crews, surveyors and technicians.

Johnson & Pace began operating as an engineering and surveying firm in 1995 and later added architectural services to their portfolio. The company’s list of capabilities includes land planning and development; building, architectural and industrial design; transportation services; water resources; and surveying and mapping.
