The Longview-based engineering, architecture, and surveying firm of Johnson & Pace recently won the Mid-West 2010 Award of Excellence from Mid-West Steel. The award was for the design of the Perry Reed Professional Center, which was completed earlier this year.
"We're very excited to receive recognition for the unique design of the building," said Diane Borgwardt, Johnson & Pace spokesperson. "It's really a testament to the amount of thought put into our designs."
According to Borgwardt, the design of the Reed Professional Center began with a pre-engineered metal building, and the finished design looks very high end. "Our architects and engineers worked very hard to achieve a modern look with the design," Borgwardt said. Johnson & Pace have designed several buildings in the Longview area including restaurants and chain stores.
